SBP students Progress in Nicaragua

GBS President Bob Reed just spent a few days in Managua, Nicaragua, participating in two important ceremonies, as well as preaching in three different churches. We are grateful to see what the Lord is doing through the ministry of Seminario Bautista Panamericano, our Spanish language Bible Institute Program in this Central American Country.

On Saturday morning, November 4, SBP students from four different churches met together at Tabernacle Baptist Church to hear a motivating message from the Word of God and to enjoy some fellowship together. At the end of the service, 19 students received their certificates for having completed their module of study. Within a few weeks, they will begin Module 2.

On Sunday night, Bob had the privilege of handing diplomas to 4 students who have now completed the entire course of study. This is the second graduating class of the Jerusalem Independent Fundamental Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Marvin Brenes. Pastor Brenes has been instrumental in assisting several churches begin their own Bible Institutes through our program.

We are thankful for these graduates, who will now join others who are serving faithfully in their local churches or who have gone out to help establish new churches around Nicaragua. Please pray for several other pastors who have expressed an interest in beginning the SBP program in their churches, or who have currently paused their institute programs for a variety of reasons.
